Ms. Yasmina Sam has a long and enriching career at the at the International Finance Corporation (IFC) which is a member of the World Bank Group and the largest global development institution focused exclusively on the private sector in developing countries. Ms. Yasmina is a Portfolio Analyst for the Oil, Gas and Mining Division which is in charge of managing the assets of over 82 companies globally.
Ms. Yasmina completed her high school studies at the Lycée Guebre-Mariam in Addis Abeba, Ethiopia. Ms. Yasmina came to Toronto, Canada where she continued her studies and obtained a BS degree with a double major in Economics and Management.
Outside of work, Ms. Yasmina has been actively involved as a member of the Organizing Committee of Youths Mentoring Youths (YMY) since its inception in May of 2012. She is passionate about YMY because she wants to see young people succeed through solid guidance and mentoring.
